Abram Friesen Bartsch, 19, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, rural Hugoton, Kansas.
He was born March 23, 2002, in Coronel Ovieto Paraguay. The son of Gerhard Friesen Thiessen and Susana (Bartsch) Thiessen.
Abe was a hardworking guy that loved his job. He was good at making people happy and made friends everywhere he went. He was excited to get married next year. We will all miss him very much.
Survivors include his parents Gerhard and Susana (Bartsch) Friesen Thiessen, Mexico; brothers, Heinrich Friesen Bartsch and wife Helena Friesen, Ontario, Canada, Gerhard Friesen Bartsch and wife Helena Friesen, Ontario, Canada, Jacob Friesen Bartsch and wife Agatha Friesen, Dalhart, TX., Cornelius Friesen Bartsch and wife Helena Friesen, Dalhart, TX., Willie Friesen Bartsch, Dalhart, TX., Joseph Friesen Bartsch, Mexico; sisters, Anna Martens and husband Martin, Dalhart, Tx., Elisabeth Friesen Bartsch and husband Heinrich Wall, Ontario, Canada, Susana Friesen Bartsch and husband Heinrich Weins Friesen, Margaretha Friesen Bartsch, Mexico and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be Friday, November 12, 2021, 1 PM, at Old Colony Mennonite Church in Montezuma. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Montezuma, Kansas.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, 2021, 9 AM to 8 PM at Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton, Kansas.
