Alberta Mae (Beavers) Willsey, 95, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020, rural Stevens County, Kansas.
She was born to Levi and Bessie (Burrows) Beavers on July 9, 1924 in Stevens County, Kansas.
Alberta married George Lee Willsey on May 7, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1999.
Alberta was a very active member of First Church of God, Hugoton.
Alberta would always say: “How can you not believe in a God when nature shows you that there is a God.”
Survivors include son, Duane Willsey and wife Becky, Hugoton, KS.; daughter, Glenda Kryvor and husband Peter, Grand Prairie, TX.; six grandchildren Sue Ann Nearson, Dennis Klatt, Danielle Ochoa, Michelle Pritchett, Michael McComack, Jeremy Metz and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Bessie; daughter, Julett Klatt; brothers, Calvin, Cecil, Melvin, Alvin Beavers; sisters, Dellah, Juanita, Bonnie, and Leta Rose; step granddaughter, Brandy Metz.
A memorial has been established for First Church of God, in care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.
Due to CDC and Kansas Health Department recommendation of gatherings under 10 people a private graveside will be held at Hugoton Cemetery. The service will be live on Robson Funeral Home Facebook page at the time of service. We ask that people use this resource in lieu of being at the graveside.
