Anthony “Tony” Hall, 76 years old, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Stevens County Hospital, in Hugoton, Kansas. The son of Code Henry and LewElla Dean (Anderson) Hall, he was born April 25, 1946, in Taft, California.
He and Vickie Christine Baldwin were married and had three children: Christopher, James, and Toni. Vickie preceded him in death on February 11, 1997.
Tony and Linda Catherine (Heremes) Sheffield were married August 1, 2009, at the Forewinds Golf Course in Hugoton, Kanas. The two of them enjoyed traveling together and going on cruises.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW and Disabled Veterans Program. Tony enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Forewinds Golf Club. He was also a golf board member. He was an avid Kansas University Jayhawk Fan. Other hobbies included skiing, bowling, and hunting. He loved and enjoyed his family.
Survivors include wife, Linda Sheffield, Hugoton, KS.; two sons, Christopher Hall and wife Rebecca, Tulsa, OK., James Hall and wife Susan, Owasso, OK.; daughter, Toni Easterwood and husband Bob, Rolla, KS.; two brothers, Glen Hall, Sulphur Springs, TX., Roger Hall and wife Gloria, Dodge City, KS.; stepson, Joseph Sheffield, Douglas, KS.; two step daughters, Jolenna Woods, League City, TX., Michelle Sheffield and husband Kyle Rutledge, Calhan, CO.; thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two step grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded by his parents, Henry and LewElla; first wife, Vickie; brother, George Hall; sister, Marilyn Harris.
A memorial has been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities and Forewinds Golf Course. In the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 6, 2022, from 11 AM to 8 PM, at Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton. Family to receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 10 AM, First Christian Church, in Hugoton. Burial to follow Hugoton Cemetery.
