AVIS CECELIA (CRAIG) NORTON


Avis Cecelia Norton, 77, died on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at her residence.

The daughter of Lee Roy & Nellie P. (Carlile) Craig, he was born on December 14, 1939, at Texas County, Oklahoma.

She and Linzey Norton were married on October 14, 1974 at Clayton, New Mexico.

Survivors include, a son, Bruce Norton, Hugoton, KS; a brother, Fred Craig & wife Sandy, Woodward, OK., a sister, Neva Day, Tyrone, OK., a granddaughter, Kathryn Bowls and other relatives and friends.

She preceded in death parents, husband, a brother, William Craig, five sisters, Emmalee Wriston, Mallie Craig, Pauline Rodkey, Ruthie Fields and Doris Gaut.

A memorial has been established for the Family. Memorials may be mailed to Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 2 PM at the Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton, KS with Pastor Heath Kelley.

Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call Tuesday 10AM to 8PM at the funeral home.
