Carol Lorraine Hernandez, 61, died on Friday, January 20, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, KS.
She was the daughter of Lawrence Butler & Doris (Motsinger) Wenger, she was born on January 4, 1956, Princeton, MO.
She and Frank Hernandez were married on May 28, 1977 at Ulysses, KS.
Carol worked for the State of Kansas, DCF, for 23 years and currently was the Co-owner of Frank’s Service Center for the past 15 years.
Survivors include husband, Frank Hernandez, Ulysses, KS.; four daughters, Chasity Hernandez, Fort Worth, TX., Robin Bryant & husband Torez, Garden City, KS., Shayla Jaquez & husband Adan, Ulysses, KS., Nikki Garcia & husband E.J., Ulysses, KS.; three brothers, Fred Butler, Ellsworth, KS., Wayne Butler, Penrose, CO., Dee Wenger, Lincoln, KS.; four sisters, Patty Graff & husband Doug, Ashland, KS., Judy Herwig & husband Jim, San Antonio, TX., Kay Blackmore, Pueblo, CO., Dalinda Hernandez & husband Mike, Ulysses, KS., 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Butler and Doris Wenger & step father, Lawrence Wenger, daughter, Shawna Hernandez, brother Gary Dale Butler & Orval Butler.

Vigil and Rosary Services will held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 7 PM at the Mary Queen of Peace Church, Ulysses, KS.
Mass Services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 2PM at the Mary Queen of Peace Church, Ulysses, KS.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 6PM to 8 PM.
Friends may call Wednesday 10AM to 8PM and Thursday 10AM to 5PM at the funeral home.
