Christine Rankin (Jones)

Christine Rankin, 85, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019, St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, KS.

Christine was born to Jesse E. and Helen I. (Colborn) Jones on September 27, 1934 in Anderson County, KS.

She and Clifford D. Rankin were married December 30, 1960 in Raton, NM. To this union were two children; Traci and Troy.

Christine was a member of the United Methodist Church of Elkhart. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by son, Troy Rankin and wife Melinda, Elkhart, KS; son-in-law, Larry Bitner, Elkhart, KS.; grandchildren, Taylor Rankin and wife Cherokee, Elkhart, KS; M’Lynn Smith and husband Avery, Ellis, KS; Noah Bitner, Elkhart, KS; great-grandchildren, Tatum and Taos Rankin, Elkhart, KS; bonus children, Ryan Scott and wife Erin, Elkhart, KS, Samantha Sanger and husband Cory, Kalvesta, KS; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Rankin; daughter, Traci Bitner; brothers, Otis, Keith, and Bill Jones.
