Daisy Elsie Pate, 94, died on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Stevens County Hospital, Hugoton, KS.
She was the daughter of Walter Scott & Marie Venus (Hawk) Prather, she was born on December 6, 1921, Skiatook, OK.
She and Everett Randel Pate were married on November 3, 1943, Liberal, KS. He preceded her in death December 14, 1980.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Hugoton and Ladies Auxiliary VFW, Liberal.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim Lewis & husband Steve; Tanya Pate & companion David Thompson; a grandson, Matthew Lewis all of Hugoton, KS.; a brother, Walt Prather & wife Shirley, Grove, OK.; a sister, Venus Easley, Enid, OK.; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Everett Randle, brothers, Wayne, Alfred and Cleo Prather, sisters, Fern Pate, Geneva Holder, Irene Holt and nephew Jimmy Lee.
A memorial has been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities. Memorials may be mailed to Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home-PO Box 236-Hugoton, KS 67951.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 2PM at the First Christian Church, Hugoton and burial at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton with Pastor Larry Bradford.
Friends may call Thursday 10am to 8pm at the funeral home.
