Darrell Gene Hughan, 83 of Satanta, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Satanta District Hospital.
He was the son of William Alexandra and Birdie (Youngs) Hughan, he was born on July 27, 1935, Plains, KS.
Darrell and Mary Jo Day were married on March 22, 1959 in Liberal, KS. She preceded him in death November 29, 1999 after 40 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Baker and husband Kolby, Kansas City, MO., Melissa Hughan, Aurora, CO.; grandson, Donyvan Jackson, Aurora, CO.; two sisters, Lora Lucille Cox, Meade, KS., Lorretta Louise Stone, Tribune, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Jo, siblings, Alexander Merle (Bill), Sandy Alfred, Dolar Alan (Shorty), Melvin Dale (Whitey), Marvin Dean (Dean), Alva Joy (Joy), Agnes Delores Sidebottom, Wilma Arlene Rutherford, Donald Dwain (Donny).
Funeral service will be Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11 AM, Satanta Baptist Church, Satanta, KS. Burial will be at 2 PM on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Plains Cemetery, Plains, KS.
Friends may call Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 11 AM to 8 PM, Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, Satanta.
