Dean Edward Lewis Sr.

Dean Edward Lewis Sr., 93, died on Sunday evening September 11, 2016 at Pioneer Manor, Hugoton, KS.

He was the son of Edward & Ida Bell (Monroe) Lewis, he was born on March 3, 1923, Wellsford, KS.

He and Gloria G. Schwab were married on June 7, 1945, Baltimore, MD.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Hugoton, KS.

Survivors include wife, Gloria Lewis, Hugoton, KS.; a son, Dean Lewis Jr. & wife Jackie, Hugoton, KS.; two daughters, Cindy Kilbourn & husband Lewis, Denver, CO.; Janet Campbell & husband Jerry, Emporia, KS., a sister, Earline Getz, Kresgeville, PA.; nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Earl Bea, Loma and Dewayne Lewis, three sisters, Vivian Lowry, Audrey Nelson and Marjorie Eckman, a grandson, Mark Lewis.

A memorial has been established for United Methodist Church and Pioneer Manor. Memorials may be mailed to Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 2 PM at United Methodist Church, Hugoton, KS and burial at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton, KS with Rev. Rebecca Davison presiding.
Visitation will be held on Thursday 10AM to 8 PM and Friday 10AM to 6PM at the funeral home.
