ENCARNACION E. MATUREY
Encarnacion E. Maturey, 96, died on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Satanta District Hospital, Satanta, KS.
He was the son of Domingo and Josefa (Castillo) Maturey, he was born on March 18, 1921 in Angelton, TX.
He and Rita Limon were married on January 9, 1943, Edinburg, TX. She preceded him in death on
He worked for Santa Fe Railroad for 34 years retiring March 19, 1982.
He enjoyed fishing and collecting antiques. His main enjoyment was riding around the cities of Satanta, Sublette and surrounding areas. He loved to stop and visit with his family and friends.
Survivors include three sons, Encarnacion (Junior) Maturey and wife Connie, Satanta, KS., Steve Maturey, Satanta, KS. Domingo Maturey, Overland Park, KS.; two daughters, Josefa Silva, Satanta, KS., Christine Davis and husband Paul, Waldorn, AR.; 15 Granchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren and other relatives friends.
He was preceded in death his parents, wife, 3 brothers, a daughter, Patricia Warren.
Memorial Mass Services will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Church, Satanta, KS and burial Dudley Township Cemetery, Satanta, KS.
Friends may call Tuesday 10AM to 8PM at the Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, Satanta.
