Guadalupe Rubio Morales, a loving and giving husband and father, passed away on November 7, 2023, in Andover, Kansas. Born on February 13, 1949, in Cuchillo Parado, Chihuahua, Mexico, Guadalupe to his parents, Martin and Rosa (Morales) Rubio. He lived a vibrant life filled with love and devotion to his family.

Guadalupe's warm and caring nature always shone through in his interactions with those around him. His infectious smile and kind heart touched the lives of everyone he knew. He will be remembered as a devoted man who cherished his family and friends.

In his leisure time, Guadalupe enjoyed various hobbies and interests. He found solace in fishing trips where he could connect with nature and unwind. Guadalupe was passionate about collecting items such as tapes and other treasures that held sentimental value to him. He loved dancing and spinning around the dance floor with his beloved daughters. Guadalupe was fascinated with rocks and spent hours collecting them during his treasure-hunting adventures. Gardening was another of his passions as he nurtured beautiful plants that bloomed under his care.

Guadalupe Rubio Morales is survived by his loving wife, Olga (Leyva) Rubio of the home. They were united in marriage on September 20, 1970, in Mexico. Their enduring bond was a testament to their deep love and commitment to each other. Together, they built a foundation of love that will continue to be cherished by their children and grandchildren.

He is also survived by three sons: Jesus Noe Rubio and his wife Marisol of Garden City, KS; Rojelio Rubio and his wife Nicole of Sublette, KS; and David Rubio of Satanta, KS. Five daughters: Rosa Ruiz, Norma Rubio, Teresa Salazar, and her husband Nati; Satanta, KS; Myrta Flores and Miguel from Pierceville, KS; and Ana Trejo and her husband Oscar from Victoria, TX.

Guadalupe leaves behind three brothers, Fernando Rubio from Andrews, TX; Reynaldo Rubio from Odessa, TX; and Jesus Manuel Rubio from Cuchillo Parado, Chihuahua, Mexico. He is also survived by three sisters: Constancia Muniz and her husband Pablo; Berta Pimenteo and her husband Lorenzo; and Dolores Rubio, all from Odessa, TX.

His memory will be cherished by grandchildren, Erica Ruiz, Alejandro Ruiz, Rosalio Ruiz Jr., Miguel Ángel Flores Jr., Edgar Andrés Flores, Edwin Adán Flores, Jesús Adrián Rubio, Danny Rubio, Jacob Salazar, Nati Salazar Jr., Lorenzo Salazar,  Monica Moraima Trejo, Erik Trejo, Kylie Ann Trejo, Exavior Rojelio Gonzales, Quinnton Deon Rubio, Johnathan Ray Rubio. Great-grandchildren,  Alexis Moreno, Marley Moreno, Elliana Flores, Ayven Kai Rivera, Kaden Alan Rubio, Everly Kay Salazar. 

Guadalupe Rubio Morales was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Moraima Rubio, his son Miguel Angel Rubio, two sisters Gerarda and Maria Rubio, his son-in-law Rosalio Ruiz, and sister-in-law Pilar Rubio. Their memories will forever testify to their impact on Guadalupe's life.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Guadalupe Rubio Morales Memorial Fund, in the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 747, Satanta, Kansas 67870.

To honor the life of Guadalupe Rubio Morales, visitation services will be held at Robson Funeral Home in Satanta on November 9th and 10th. The visitation on November 9th will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by another visitation on November 10th from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

A funeral service will take place at First Baptist Church in Satanta on November 11th at 11:00 AM. The burial ceremony will follow at Dudley Township Cemetery in Satanta.

Guadalupe's presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love and kindness will forever serve as a reminder of the extraordinary man he was. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
