Harriet Lea Krey (Algrim)

Harriet Lea Krey, 85, daughter of Leora and Ruth Algrim, died Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Wallace County Community Care Center in Sharon Springs. She was born October 8, 1935, in Montezuma, KS. She was married to Donald Lee Krey on October 4, 1953, at Montezuma then making their lifetime residency in Morton County on the Krey family farm. In 2012 her and her husband took residency at the Wallace County Community Care Center.

She was a member of the Richfield United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: two daughters; Debbie Krey, Hugoton, Melinda and husband Curtis Daily, Wallace, a sister, Kae Schmidt, Lacey, Washington, brother, Eugene Algrim, Hutchinson, KS, four grandchildren; Brent, Harrison and wife Roni, Chanity and Joshua, and five great grandchildren; Lexi, Bralyn, Cayli, Koi and Kyson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leora and Ruth Algrim, husband, Donald Krey, son, Dan Krey and wife Molly, sisters, Helen, Velma, Wilma, Arlene, grandchildren, Amber and Levi Krey.

Memorials will go to the Richfield UMC. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home- PO Box 236- Hugoton, KS 67951.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11:00 C.T. at Richfield United Methodist Church with Lay leader, Jerry Ryman and burial Richfield Cemetery, Richfield, KS.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 2, 2021, 2 PM to 8 PM, Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton.
