Janet Frances Gomez

Janet Frances Gomez, 64, died on Wednesday evening October 17, 2018 at her home.

She was born December 31, 1953 in Odessa, Texas the daughter of Manuel Martinez and Rita (Pacheco) Gomez.

She and Cornelio Landa JR. were married on January 31, 1970 in Odessa, Texas.

Survivors include her two sons, Bartolo Marcos Landa, Goodwell, OK., Cornelio Landa III & wife Mary Jane, Hugoton, KS.; Rosemary Baca & husband Bobby, Odessa, TX., Angie Ruiz & husband Eric, Midland, TX.;
four brothers, Ventura Gomez, San Diego, CA., Bartolo Gomez, Odessa, TX., Joel Gomez, Odessa, TX., Reynaldo Gomez, Odessa, TX.; two sisters, Rachel Romero, San Diego, CA., Virginia Garcia, Odessa, TX.; 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.


Janet was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Robert, Daniel, Samuel, Reymundo, Julian Gomez, a sister, Margarita Baker, a great grandson, Jeremiah Snowden.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2018, 10:00 a. m. at the Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton with Pastor Patrick Estrada and burial at Hugoton Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton.
