Karen Annette (Lightcap) Sepeda, 61, passed away on early Thursday morning, February 2, 2017 at St. Catherine’s Hospital, Garden City, KS.
She was the daughter of Gerald and Patsy Scraborough Lightcap, she was born on May 26, 1955, Amarillo, TX.
She went to Satanta High School.
Karen was a past member of the United Methodist Church, Satanta.
Karen loved to cook for her family and friends; her specialty was cooking Mexican food. She enjoyed listening to Old Rock and Roll music, watching sci-fi movies and read books.
Survivors include her parents, Gerald & Patsy Lightcap, Garden City, KS.; three sons, Nathan Brauer, Wichita, KS., Dakota Sepeda, Tristan Sepeda , Phoenix, AZ.; a daughter, Jessica Roberts, Ponca City, OK.; a brother, Ken Lightcap, Park Hill, OK.; two sisters, Stacey Barnhardt & husband Roger, Lakin, KS., Trudy Mahin & husband Greg, Ingalls, KS.; three grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established for United Methodist Church, Satanta. Memorials may be mailed to Paul’sRobson Funeral Home-PO Box 747-Satanta, KS 67870.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church, Satanta, KS with Rev. Gary Davison.
Family will receive friends at the Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, Satanta on Monday, February 6, 2017 from 4PM to 6PM.
