Laura Lee (Steen) Heaton
Laura Lee Heaton, 92, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Western Prairie Care Center Home, Ulysses, Kansas.
Laura Lee was born to Lawrence and Dorothy Steen on October 10, 1930, in Ulysses, Kansas. After graduating from high school, she married Harold Lloyd (Buddy) Heaton. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother to so many.
She loved and enjoyed her family. She enjoyed traveling, playing Yahtzee, pitch, and king’s corner.
She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her children, Linda Lee Brecheisen and husband Randy, Wyandotte, Oklahoma, Ted Heaton and wife Judy, Hugoton, Kansas, Rhonda Lynn Neal, Cindy Jo Galloway, both of Ulysses, Kansas, Tom Heaton, Hugoton, Kansas, daughter-in-law, Cindy Marie Heaton, Ulysses, Kansas, 14 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great- Great Grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Lloyd (Buddy) Heaton, son, Buddie Lawrence Heaton, two grandchildren, Dewayne Heaton and Denise Ann (Heaton) Poole; two great- grandchildren, Kylie and Collin Becker
A memorial has been established for Western Prairie Care Home. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Ulysses, Kansas.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 11 A.M. at First United Methodist Church, Ulysses, Kansas.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 3, 2022, From 12 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home, Ulysses, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home.
