Marsha Nelson

Marsha Nelson, born Marsha Shultheiss on September 21, 1949, in Alma, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. Marsha lived a life characterized by dedication and service, exemplified through her role as a secretary for the Finney County Courthouse in Garden City.

Her commitment to her work and her community reflected her deep sense of responsibility and her unwavering support for those around her. Marsha was known for her warm demeanor, making everyone feel welcome and valued, and she cultivated friendships and connections that enriched the lives of many.

Marsha was a member of Elks Lodge, Garden City. Her hobbies were crocheting, camping, loved being with her grandchildren. 

Marsha is survived by her daughter, Nicole Campbell, Wichita, Kansas; five grandchildren, Jaren Lopez, Jacob Lopez, Jeremiah Brewton, Jaclyn Brewton, Jace Nelson and other relatives and friends.

Marsha was preceded by her parents, a son, Nicholas Nelson and a brother, Doug Shultheiss.   

Memorial service will be on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Robson Funeral Home, Garden City, Kansas. 

Marsha Nelson leaves behind a legacy of compassion and dedication that will be cherished by all who had the honor of knowing her.
