Mary “Louise” Gourdin, 74, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, KS.
Louise was born to Harry and Anna (Bliskey) Hayden, May 24, 1945 in Trinidad, CO.
Louise and William John “Bill” got married December 14, 1968 in Trinidad, CO. To this union were five daughters; Patti, Carol, Kim, Brenda, and Martha.
She loved anything that had to do with her family, especially her seven grandchildren and their sports activities. Louise loved to crochet and watched the TV show “Young and the Restless”. She loved to plant flowers in her garden.
She is survived by, husband, William “Bill” Gourdin, Hugoton, KS.; five daughters, Patti Pfalmer, Amarillo, TX., Carol Odom, Spring, TX., Kim Northam and husband James, Abilene, TX., Brenda Sherer and husband Richie, Kismet, KS., Martha Wallace and husband Blake, Victoria, TX.; sister, Joan Hedges, Trinidad, CO.; seven grandchildren, Lane, Brandi, Brandon, Hayden, Brice, Trinity, and Mason; many other friends and relatives.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and sister Amy Hedges.
A memorial has been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
Visitation will be Monday, July 1, 2019, 10 AM to 8 PM, Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 2, 2019, 2 PM at First Christian Church, Hugoton, KS. Burial to follow at Dudley Township Cemetery, Satanta, KS.
Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton is in charge of arrangements.
