Michael Shane Burnett

Michael Shane Burnett, 51, Garden City, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, he was born on July 25, 1973, in Scott City, Kansas, to Hamption (Hank) and Lynda (Roush) Burnett Michael was a fun-loving family man who made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Michael dedicated his career to serving others as a security guard with First Class Security in Garden City. His passion for music was evident to all, and it was one of the many ways he connected with those around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kim Burnett, and their son, Jakob Burnett, both of whom reside in Garden City, Kansas. Michael is also survived by a brother, Lanny Burnett; a two sisters, Romona and Tracy; father-in-law, Jim Daniher; mother-in-law, Peggy Daniher; as well as other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Hamption (Hank) and Lynda (Roush) Burnett and a sister, Tanya Wheeler. He leaves behind a legacy of love and joy that will continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and friends for years to come.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2 PM at Garden Valley Church in Garden City, Kansas.
