Rodney Brett Smith

Rodney Brett “Smitty” Smith, 65, of Garden City, Kansas passed away at Mosaic surrounded by his friends, family and caretakers.  Visitation will be 10 to 6 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2023, at Robson Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St. Garden City, KS 67846.  Friends will gather at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 17^th at Robson Funeral Home in Garden City.  Smitty will be laid to rest next to his parents in Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Mosaic in Garden City, those may be left at the funeral home.

Smitty was born October 25, 1957, to the late Florence and Herbert Smith in Garden City, Kansas.  He was the youngest of four children.  Smitty was friendly and outgoing.  He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, music and playing his guitar.  He is an avid WWE fan and enjoyed watching his favorite wrestler John Cena enter the ring.

He is survived by the many friends and caretakers from Mosaic in Garden City.  Smitty’s hugs will be dearly missed by all who had privilege of being his friend.  Services will be under the care of Robson Funeral Home-Garden City.
