Tania Lousie McNabb (McCalmont)

Tania Louise McNabb, 69, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, Kansas.

Tania was the daughter of Maynard and Margaret (Green) McCalmont, she was born January 14, 1950, Garden City, Kansas.

She and Dan McNabb were married January 2, 1972, United Methodist Church, Sublette, Kansas. They celebrated 47 years of marriage. To this union their where two children Jay and Amanda. They lived in Sublette many years raising their children. She was very active with her children and their activities. She loved her family and they enjoyed going on ski trips together. Later years, Dan and Tania went on Motorcycle trips with their friends. Grandchildren became a high light of her life and loved to have them around her.

She graduated from Fort Hays University with a Master’s in education with Speech. She worked for High Plains Education for almost 46 years. She loved her job helping children.

She is survived by her husband, Dan McNabb, Ulysses, KS.; son, Jay McNabb and wife Shanna, Oberlin, KS.; Amanda McNabb, Ulysses, KS; mother-in-law, Georgia McNabb, Sublette, KS.; sister-in-law, Debbie Huber and husband Jim, Garden City, KS., five grandchildren, Adam, Rylee, Dylan, Aven and Tripp.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019, First United Methodist Church, Ulysses, KS, 11 AM and graveside service will be at Haskell County Cemetery, Sublette, KS on Monday, November 25, 2019, 2 PM with Pastor Todd Guinn.

A memorial has been established for Ulysses School USD 214 Activity fund. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Ulysses, KS 67880.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 23, 2019, 12 PM to 8 PM and Sunday, November 24, 2019, 2 PM to 8 PM at Robson Funeral Home, Ulysses.
