Terri Lynn Wait
Terri Lynn (Colopy) Wait, 59, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at Morton County Hospital, Elkhart, Kansas. She was born August 10, 1962, Denver, Colorado to parents Charlie and Carol (DeLashmutt) Colopy.
She and William Edward “Bill” Wait were married November 16, 2007, in Springfield, Colorado. They enjoyed being together and doing all things together.
Terri was a lover and a giver. Each senior who gave her a graduation invitation got a handmade afghan. She enjoyed crocheting and watching Elkhart Wildcat sports. She loved cheering on the kids in the different sports events.
She is survived by loving husband, William “Bill” Wait, Elkhart, KS.; parents, Charlie and Carol Colopy, Montrose, CO.; two step- sons, Keith and Eric Wait, both of Amarillo, TX.; numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by Aunt, Betty Jo Pyle.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities. In care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 606, Elkhart, Kansas 67950.
Book signing will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021, 2 PM to 6 PM, Robson Funeral Home, Elkhart, Kansas.
Memorial service will be held Friday, November 12, 2021, 10 AM, Robson Funeral Home, Elkhart. No burial will be held as cremation has taken place.
Robson Funeral Home, Elkhart is in charge of arrangements.
