William “Bill” Vehige, 71, of Garden City, KS passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, at St. Catherine’s Hospital
in Dodge City, KS. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Robson Funeral Home,
620 N. Main Street, Garden City, KS 67846.
Graveside services in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Topeka will be handled by the Brennan Funeral Home and will be scheduled at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Mosaic in Garden City, in c/o Robson Funeral Home.
Bill was born March 26, 1951, to the late August Joseph “AJ” and Agnes Vehige in Lawrence, KS. Bill was a gentle, easy-going soul; he enjoyed van rides, walks, watching T.V., and sweets, especially pop and doughnuts.
He is survived by his brothers, Joseph Vehige; Greg Vehige and wife Mila; Jim Vehige; Daniel Vehige and wife
Mandy; Andrew Vehige and wife Kim; sisters, Erma Cain; Mary Kennedy; many nieces, nephews, friends
and caregivers.
Robson Funeral Home, Garden City is overseeing the arrangements.
